Note: standard 1 inch thick filters are actually 7/8 of an inch in thickness, making them compatible with existing disposable filters.

Boair 5-Stage filters won't bend, so if you're having to "force" your existing cardboard filter in then make sure you specify a smaller size for your new filter.
2. How did you get your filter measurements?

If you're replacing a disposable filter, you'll find that your existing filter is probably smaller than the measurements printed on the side of it. For example, a filter marked 20 x 20 x 1 inches is usually only 19 5/8 x 19 5/8 x 7/8 inches (i.e. the major dimensions are 3/8 of an inch smaller than what's printed on the filter, and the thickness is 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch thinner).

Your system will come with 6 regular pads. Activated Carbon pads are useful in helping to combat household odors. These Activated Carbon pads last up to 4 months, so we recommend changing them every other time you change your regular pad.
